WILSON, N.C. - The Emmanuel College men's basketball team took down #20 ranked NCAA Division II opponent Barton College 88-71 on Saturday afternoon. This win brings the Lions record to 6-4 overall, 2-0 conference.

The Lions doubled the Bulldogs score 52-26 by half-time after taking advantage of 14 first-half turnovers. An impressive 54.7% from the floor helped the Lions clench a 30 point lead at one point. 

Sophomore Brandon Simpson led the Lions with a game high 26 points and 12 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. 

The Lions will continue action on Wednesday, December 12th with a conference game against North Greenville University in Greenville, South Carolina.
