BRISTOL, TN. - The Emmanuel College Men's volleyball team dropped another tough conference match to King University. Ranked #1 among the conference, the Tornado was on a 5 game win streak before taking on the Lions.

Set one started well for Emmanuel with #14 Alejandro Robles delivering 3 kills early on in the match. With a score tied at 12-12, the Tornado began to break away and go on a 7 point run. Emmanuel was unable to catch up and dropped the first set 16-25.

The match would only go two more sets before King would take the victory defeating Emmanuel 25-18 and 25-17.

Emmanuel struggled with their offensive game, hitting .110 for the night. Ackeem West led the team in kills with 9.

The Lions' next match will be on the road Wednesday, February 7th against Lincoln Mermorial.
