FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - The Emmanuel College men's basketball team defeated Albany State, 62-52, on Tuesday night at the Williamson Basketball Arena. 

The Lions outshot the Golden Rams 40.7% to 34.5%, while putting up seven three-pointers. The Golden Rams struggled behind the three-point line, missing all of their shots. With 9 more rebounds than their opponent, the Lions grabbed an early lead and never looked back.

Three Lions were in double digits with Senior Kendrick Colvin leading the way with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Senior Austin Greene put up 11 points and Sophomore Brandon Simpson followed behind with 10. 

With this win the Lions improve their record to 12-6 overall, 5-0 conference. 

Next up, the Lions will travel to Lees-McRae for another conference match in Saturday, January 12th.
