BANNER ELK, N.C. - The Emmanuel College women's volleyball team defeated conference opponent Lees-McRae 3-1 on Saturday afternoon. This win brings the Lions record to 11-10 overall, 7-2 in conference.

Four Lions hit in the double digits on EC's way to a 25-21, 22-25, 25-22, 25-17 victory. Senior Jessica Gray led the team with 15 kills while Sophomore Mia Cotton followed behind with 12. After splitting sets 1-1, the Lions gradually improved their efficiency and took sets two and three to finish the match with a .233 hitting percentage while dishing out 59 kills.

Senior Stephanie Hardy put up 43 assists.

Next up, the Lions will return home for a match against Augusta University on Tuesday, October 29th.
