Box Score TIGERVILLE, SC - The Emmanuel College men's basketball team took on conference rival North Greenville University on Wednesday night. The Lions defeated the Crusaders 88-77, moving their record to 11-8 overall and 8-3 in conference.
The Lions took command of the game from the start with a 17-0 run that had them leading by double digits in the first four minutes of play. The Crusaders gathered themselves and began to respond throughout the rest of the first half. By halftime, the Lion's lead had been cut to 9 points, 44-35.
In the second half, the Crusaders fought their way back into contention, eventually tying the game with 12 minutes left to play. However, after Coach Rosene called a timeout for the Lions, they sank an astounding five consecutive three-pointers, quickly regaining the lead they had lost. The Lions extended their lead to 23 points, 84-61, with four minutes left on the clock. Despite a late push from the Crusaders, they were unable to recover from the Lion's hot streak. Emmanuel went on to win by 14 points, 88-74.

KJ Jones II with 15 points. Senior
Emerson McClung and junior Charlie Valazquez followed with 13 points each.
