BELMONT, N.C. - The Emmanuel College men's volleyball team fell 3-0 to the Belmont Abbey Crusaders on Friday night. This loss brings the Lions record to 2-8 overall, 2-5 in conference.

The Crusaders commanded the net the entire night with a .411 hitting percentage while dishing out 47 kills and 16 blocks. EC put down 26 kills with a .222 hitting percentage and 6 blocks. The only category the Lions topped the Crusaders in was serving, with EC drawing only 10 errors compared to 17 from Belmont Abbey.

Don Thompson led the Lions with 8 kills, Fabian Marcano followed behind with 5.

Next up, men's volleyball will return home for a conference match against Erskine College on Tuesday, February 18th.
