Concord, N.C.—Conference Carolinas hosts the Men's and Women's Cross Country Spring Championships at Frank Liske Park in North Carolina. 
 
Emmanuel Men's and Women's Cross Country teams traveled to Concord, N.C. to compete in the Conference Carolinas Spring Championship on Friday, January 29, 2021. 
 
The Women's team, led by Coach Dr. Mary Wilson, raced at 1:30 and 2:20 in the 5K championship. Emmanuel runners came out on top, securing the Conference title for the women's team. 
 
Emmanuel Women finished with a team score of 64, 13 points ahead of the second place team, King. The average time for the Lady Lions was 21:37 for the complete 3.2 miles, scoring 5-6-16-18-19. The top finisher for the Lady Lions was sophomore Sarah Green, in fifth place overall, with a time of 20:50:7, immediately followed by senior Alex Quarles with a time of 20:56:3. 

Alex Quarles and Sarah Green both received First-Team All Conference. Taylor Farmer, Briannah Henry and Ashley Ledgerwood received  Third-Team All Conference, and Dr. Mary Wilson received the Coach of the Year award.
