Atlanta, GA – Emmanuel College swimming wrapped up the 2020-21 regular season over the weekend at the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Invitational at the McAuley Aquatic Center.

Women's Highlights

The EC women had nine first-place performances at the Invite. On day 1, the 200 free relay (Arnold, Davidson, Aloisio, Simioni) finished 1^st in 1:41.45. In the 200 IM, Natalie Hayes finished 1^st (2:16.12). In the 500 free, Maria Diaz 1^st (5:29.08). In the 400 medley relay (Aloisio, Simioni, Hayes, Arnold) finished 1^st in 4:08.62. In the 800 free relay (Chenquer, Diaz, Malinowska, Aguiar) finished 1^st (8:26.69).

 

On day 2, the 200 medley relay (Davidson, Ortman, Diaz, Pritchett) finished 1^st in 1:57.88. In the

100 fly, Natalie Hayes finished 1^st (59.17). In the 200 breast, Paula Chenquer 1^st (2:34.23). Finally, in the 400 free relay (Arnold, Aguiar, Diaz, Simioni) finished 1^st in 3:48.44.

 

Men's Highlights

On the men's side, the Lions earned thirteen first-place finishes at the Invite. On day 1, the 200 free relay (Dantas, Santos, Semenov, Moreira) finished 1^st in 1:21.88. In the 200 IM, Sebastian Mendez 1^st (2:02.28). In the 500 free, Enzo Kihara finished 1^st (4:33.54). In the 200 fly, Alasdair McGhee 1^st (1:59.81). In the 100 breast, Joao Santos finished 1^st (55.20). In the 400 medley relay (Semenov, Santos, Dantas, Moreira) finished 1^st in 3:29.53.

 

On day 2, the 200 medley relay (Semenov, Santos, Dantas, Moreira) finished 1^st in 1:30.56. In the 100 fly, Hunter Hayes finished 1^st in 53.07. In the 200 breast, Joao Santos finished 1^st (2:06.75). In the 100 back, Michael Semenov 1^st (50.69). In the 50 free, Igor Dantas finished 1^st (19.88). In the 1650 free, Enzo Kihara finished 1^st in 16:10.21. Finally, the 400 free relay (Semenov, Santos, Dantas, Moreira) finished 1^st (3:04.09).

 

Next up, Conference Carolinas Conference Championships will be held February 25-27 in Kingsport, TN.
