WILSON, NC - The Emmanuel College men's soccer team traveled to Wilson N.C. to take on Barton College on Saturday, September 11th. The Lions fought hard and created several goal scoring opportunities but came up short in a 0-2 loss to the bulldogs. The Lions had more opportunities on frame, outshooting the bulldogs 6-5 on goal, but unfortunately could not find the breakthrough goal.

Words from Coach Starr: 

"We were beaten by a top side in the conference today. I am proud of the fight from the team and felt we controlled portions of the match. We will focus on being consistent and use this result as a learning opportunity to push our ceiling Brick By Brick." 

The lions have one week to prepare for their home opener against North Greenville on Saturday, September 18th at 7:30PM.
