Greenville, SC. --- Emmanuel College Men's Soccer traveled to North Greenville University this afternoon to take on the Crusaders who currently sit at 4-2-2 in conference play.
 
The Lions and the Crusaders came out to a slow start in the first half. Emmanuel would put up only 2 shots in the first half, one of which would be saved by Crusaders goalie, Michel Weber. NGU would only put up three shots in the first half, all of which would miss the target far and wide. 
 
The second half of play would be intense as both teams. The Crusaders would score the first goal of the game at 49:22. This would not stop the lions as they sought revenge with hopes to increase the score. Emmanuel would attempt four shots after the goal was score, 3 of which would miss, and the tying score would be saved by Crusaders goalie placed in the top left. Lions' goalie, Rodrigo De La Terga saved 4 out of the 7 attempts by NGU in the second half. After 90 minutes of play, the Crusaders would scrape by with the victory 1-0. 

Emmanuel will host the Barton College for a conference match up and Senior Day on Saturday, October 15 beginning at 1:00 p.m.
