Spartanburg, SC – Women's Volleyball traveled to Converse University for a conference matchup against the Valkyries.
 
Emmanuel looked to advance to 12-1 in Conference play. The Lions came out in total domination of this matchup against the Valkyries. Overall, the Lions had 51 kills to Valkyries' 36, 8 aces to Valkyries' 3, each had 2 blocks a piece, 36 assist to Valkyries' 25 and 38 digs to Valkyries' 39. The Lions took all three sets. Set 1 (25-15), set 2 (25-16) and set 3 (25-19.) Alaina Emminger had a match high of 15 kills followed by Emily Hanson who had 9. Layla Bland had a match high of 3 aces. Taylor Roberts finished the match with 2 blocks. Gabrielle McGlamery had a match high of 36 assists. Asia Queen finished the match with 11 digs. 
 
Emmanuel will travel to Erskine College on Friday, October 21st. Match that is set to begin at 6:00pm.
