Franklin Springs, GA - Men's Wrestling hosted Belmont Abbey College on November 16th for a Conference matchup with the Crusaders.


Emmanuel came into this match strong currently 1-0 in the Conference and placed 4th out of 30 in the Georgia Open they hosted the weekend Prior. Belmont Abbey came into this match 1-1 on the season after a loss to Newberry College. Gavin Hayes, 125lbs, defeated Aaron Zebrauskas of the Crusaders 8-2. Harvey Ridings, 133lbs, defeated Gage Bomar of the Crusaders fall 1:50. Joshua Kincaid, 141lbs, defeated Luke Kunath of the Crusaders DEC 5-4. Connor Smith, 165lbs, defeated Paul Jakub of the Crusaders DEC 8-5. Markis Hill, 184lbs, defeated Amir Joseph of the Crusaders DEC 13-6. This team as a whole did an amazing job to defeat the #22 ranked team in the Nation.

Emmanuel will travel to King University to compete in the Tornado Open on Saturday, November 19th.
