Mt. Olive, NC - The Lady Lions hosted Chowan for a Conference Carolinas matchup with the Hawks this afternoon.

First Period

- Abby Crawford makes a layup to put the Lions on the board to open the game
- The Lions score the first 7 points of the first period
- The Hawks begin to make a comeback by scoring the following 5 points
- With 4 minutes left in the period the Lions get on a roll and go up by 13 points to head into the second period

Second Period

-  Brittany Wilcox of the Hawks banks the first layup of the second period to put the Hawks on the board first
- The Hawks open the second period scoring the first 7 points
- 5:53 left to play in the half and Jeanetta Elder makes a jumper putting the Lions up by 8
- The Hawks get on a roll and at 1:21 seconds left in the first half, the Hawks tie the game at 25
- Sydney Wyatt makes a layup in the paint with .08 seconds left in the first half to put the Lions up by 3 headed into the half

Third Period

- The Hawks come hot out of the locker room and score the first 4 points at the beginning of the third period
- 7:07 left in the third period, Emmanuel starts their 9 point streak off with Abby Crawford draining a 3
- The Lions will hold onto the lead and head into the fourth period up 43-40 over the Hawks

Fourth Period

- Abby Crawford opens up the fourth period by draining a 3
- 5:47 left in the game, Jazmin Allen banks a layup and the Lions will go on to score 8 consecutive points to pu the up by 13 points with just 4:55 left to play
- The Lions will hold onto the lead and secure the win 63-52 over the Hawks
