Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 Hawaii - The men's basketball team traveled to Hawaii for a three day event known as the Hoops in Hawaii tournament. 

Game 1: Emmanuel vs. St. Martin's
They Lions faced off against St. Martin's University out of Lacey, Washington. The Lions headed into this game after a win over King University.

1st Half - 

• The Saints would open up the first half of play scoring the first 6 points 
• Emmanuel started off the half slow down by 4 with 13 minutes left to play before half
• At 12:27, Jarrett Boyd would make a free throw to bring the Lions back within in two before the Saints would start their 12 point rally
• The Lions would make a great effort to make a first half comeback but the Saints would sink a 3 in the last .04 seconds of the first half to send them into the locker room up by 18

2nd Half -

• 30 seconds into the second half of play, the Saints would foul KJ Jones. Jones would make both free throws and put the Lions up on the board first
• The Saints and the Lions would trade buckets but the Saints would continue to hold and grow their lead
• 4:20 left to play, Jasper Gibson would make a layup ot bring the Lions within 6 points of the Saints
• Things were looking up with just 2:17 left to play, KJ Jones would sink a 3 to bring the Lions back within 3
• 1:04 left to play, Tavarus Webb would bank a layup and the were now within 1 of the Saints
• With less than a minute to play, the Saints would go a run and score the final points needed to win the game by 

Game 2: Emmanuel vs. Western Washington University

1st Half - 

• The Vikings would score the first 7 points 
• The Vikings and the Lions would trade buckets and at 7:25 left to play, the Lions would be down by 4
• 1:38 left to play, Trell Washington would bank a layup to bring the Lions within 1 point
• .02 seconds left to play, KJ Jones would be fouled by the Vikings in which he would sink both baskets and take the Lions into the locker room up by 1 point

2nd Half:

• The Lions would foul early giving the Vikings the opportunity to put points of the board first fresh out of the locker room
• The Lions would hold a slight lead for the majority of the second half
• .38 seconds left to play and the Lions would up by 1
• KJ Jones would be fouled and sink both to the Lions up by 3 with .23 seconds left to play
• Daniel Hornbuckle of the Vikings would sink a 3 with .11 seconds left to play sending the game into OT

OT 1 -

• KJ Jones and Tavarus Webb would be the highlights of the OT period, scoring all 17 points for the Lions to five the win!

Game 3: Emmanuel vs. Saint Edwards University

1st Half - 

• The Hilltoppers would open up the game scoring the first 3 points
• There would be only 1 lead change of the half
• The Hilltoppers held the lead until 1:09 left to play when Kendall Latney would make a jumper in the paint to send the Lions into the locker room tied with the Hilltoppers

2nd Half -

• KJ Jones came out of the Locker room and made a jumper to put the Lions up on the board first and take their second lead of the game
• The Lions would allow no lead change this half as they stayed in control of the game
• With .02 seconds left to play, KJ Jones would sink both free throws due to a foul and the Lions would secure the Victory on their final day in Hawaii

The Lions will travel to Augusta University on December 31st.  The game is set to begin at 12:00pm
