FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA - The Emmanuel College Acrobatics and Tumbling team hosted Mars Hill on Tuesday night. The Emmanuel Lions defeated the Mars Hill Lions, 245.835-239.265. This marks the first win of the young program. Great work, ladies!

The Lions had a dominant performance in the first half, out scoring MHU in all three events. The MHU Lions rebounded in the second half, out scoring Emmanuel in each of the first two events. The Lions held a narrow lead heading into the final team event, 158.325 to 156.875. However, a strong showing in the team event in front of the home crowd propelled the Lions to the victory as they scored an 87.510 versus 82.390 for Mars Hill. This gave them a six and a half point win overall, 245.835 to 239.265.
