Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel College Men's Tennis Team hosted the visiting Chowan University in another conference match this morning. 
 
The Lions found little to no troubles in doubles across the board, with all doubles getting convincing wins: on court #1 Joan Grosset / Nathan Benoit by 6-3, on court #2 Thembo Makhanya / Javier Crespo leading by 6-2, and lastly, on court #3 Kornel Kimaszewski / Juan Camilo Burgos by 6-1.
 
In singles, EC earned 4 more points today. First, on court #1, the senior Thembo Makhanya, who only dropped 2 games in route of a 6-2 6-0 win. Next, Hassan Badran, proved to be too aggressive from start to finish to get the third point overall with a 6-1 6-1 win. The clinching match happened on court #5 with Juan Camilo Burgos going the distance with a 3-set win by 6-7 6-2 6-4. The senior Kornel Kimaszewski finished the day with a great performance on court #5 by 6-3 6-2.
