Belmont, NC – The Lions went on the road to Lees-McRae in a Conference Carolinas matchup against the Bobcats on September 23, 2022. 

The Lady Lions looked to continue their win streak today as they would dominate the match against Belmont Abbey, winning 3-0. Emmanuel takes the first set 25-21.  They would take the second set, 25-10, and the third set, 25-18. Emily Hanson had a match high of 9 kills followed closely by Taylor Roberts who had 7 kills. Gabrielle McGlammery dished out the match high of 22 assists. Asia Queen led the Lions with 9 digs. Gabi Reagan finished the match with 6 blocks. Layla Bland finished the match with 3 aces.

The Lions remain undefeated in Conference play advancing to 5-0. Emmanuel will host a non-conference match against Young Harris College on September 27, 2022. The match is set to begin at 6:00pm.
