Irvine, CA – Men's Volleyball traveled to California to face off against their first of four colleges on the west coast this week. The first battle would be against the #7 ranked UC Irvine. 
 
UC Irvine came out strong in the first set looking as they would absolutely dominate the game but the Lions had other plans. The Lions would give it their absolute all the second set where they would fall to the Anteaters by two. Ultimately, the Anteaters would secure the victory in the third and find set of the night. Set 1 - Anteaters (25-12), set 2- Anteaters (25-21), set 3  - Anteaters (25-11). UC Irvine would hold the lead in points, kills, blocks, aces, assists and digs.  Jayden Young had another fantastic night as he would lead the Lions in kills with 10. Daniel Beacham had 1 ace. Harrison Coelho had 2 blocks.. Henrick Westhoff also had another fantastic match with a total of 22 assists. Carlos Guerrero finished the match with 5 digs.
 
Emmanuel will travel to Malibu, California to compete against the #5 ranked Pepperdine University on January 14th. The match is set to begin at 6:00pm.
