Franklin Springs, GA - Emmanuel's Women's Wrestling team hosted Limestone University on January 13, 2022. 

The Lady Lions are currently 13-6 on the season while the Saints sit at 1-3 overall on their season. The Lions started off strong in the 101lbs weight class as Haley Zinninger would get an automatic win. Dinayah Vazquez, 109lbs weight class, over Onnalaya Aguilera of the Saints, FALL 1:06. Betty Cherry, 116lbs weight class would get an automatic win followed by Evelyne Vazquez who would do the same. Samantha Larios, 136lbs weight class, over Hannah Mains of the Saints DEC 10-2. Gianna Anaya wrestling in the 143lbs weight class would get an automatic win. Alyssa Arana, 170lbs weight class, would have yet another fantastic match and beat Journey Land of the Saints DEC 18-11. Christina Santoyo would close out the night wrestling in the 191lbs weight class. She would take the victory over Kalani Rivas of the Saints, TF 10-0; 5:26.

The Lady Lions will travel to King University to compete at the King Open on Sunday, January 15th.
