Santa Clarita, CA - The Men's Volleyball traveled to California to face off against four different west coast teams. Their third of four games would be against the Mustangs of The Master's University. 

Emmanuel would take a while to warm up in sunny California as the Mustangs would take the first two sets by quite the gap. The third set however, the Lions would show their heart and come up just short of the Mustangs by two. Mustangs took set 1: 25-10, set 2: 25-16 and they would take the final set 3: 25-23. The Mustangs out played the Lions in all categories except for Digs where they would both have 17 each. Jayden Young led the Lions in kills with a total of 9. Daniel Beacham had 1 ace and 2 blocks. Nicklas Eeichenberger has a match high of 20 assists. Noah Langelier would lead the Lions with 4 digs. 

The Lions will play their final match in California Monday, January 17 against UC San Diego. The match is set to begin at 7:00pm.
