Franklin Springs, GA - The Lions hosted the Fort Valley State University Wildcats for a non conference matchup this afternoon. 

The Lions dominated in all categories other than blocks. The Lions outscored the Wildcats 65-57. The Lions had 53 kills which was led by Jayden Young who had 19 and Nicklas Eiichenberger who had 15. Lions scored 6 aces, 2 of which were by freshman, Christian Vega. Emmanuel had 6 blocks which was led by senior Henrik Westhoff where as the Wildcats had 10. Henrick Westhoff led the Lions in assists with 39. Nicklas Eichenberger led the Lions in digs with a total of 11. Overall, the Lions .307% hitting average compared to the Wildcats who had an average of .194%. 

The Lions will once again face off against the Fort Valley State University Wildcats at their facility on January 31st. The match is set to begin at 2:00pm.
