Franklin Springs, GA - Emmanuel hosted Barton College for a Conference Carolinas matchup with the Bulldogs this afternoon.

Summary:

First Half

- Bulldogs open the game sinking 2 free throws after an early foul by the Lions
- Chris Dees drains two 3's early in the first half to put the Lions up by 4 points
- The Bulldogs would go on a 6 point run until 10:43 left to play in the half when Tavarus "Spudd" Webb made a phenomenal dunk
- With 1:43 left to play in the half, Barton takes their biggest lead of the game up by 9 points
- The Lions head into the half down by 9

Second Half

- Jeremiah Francis drains a free throw to open the second half after an early foul by the Bulldogs
-  With 15:08 left to play, the Lions have cut the lead to 5 after a good layup by Tavarus "Spudd"  Webb
- With 5:43 left to play, the Bulldogs jump to their biggest lead of the game over the Lions up by 14 points
- 4:10 left to play, the Bulldogs continue to increase their leage now up by 17 points
- The Lions would continue to chop away at the lead but the lead was just too great in the end
- Emmanuel takes the loss by 18 points
