DUE WEST, SC -The Emmanuel University Women's Volleyball team was on the road today against Erskine College in an away conference match. The Lions took the match 3-0, bringing their overall record to 15-10 and their conference record to 10-3.  
 
The Lions got off to a quick start and stayed focused throughout the match, defeating the Flying Fleet in straight sets, 25-14, 25-19, 25-11.
 
Overall, the Lady Lions had 41 kills, 7 aces, 1 block and 43 digs. 
 
Senior, Emily Hanson led the way for the Lions with 9 kills, with senior, Alaina Emminger adding 8 of her own and Layla Bland contributing 7. 
 
Layla Bland and Brianna Bigelow each contributed 1 block. The 7 aces are credited to sophomores, Layla Bland (3), Ellie Jackson (2), and senior, Isabella Appling (1). 
 
Senior, Gabby McGlamery contributed 31 assists.
