Box Score CENTRAL, SOUTH CAROLINA - The Emmanuel Women's Soccer team traveled to Southern Wesleyan University for a conference matchup against the Warriors. After 90 minutes of play, the Lions came out on top.  3-1.
 
The first half of the match was a defensive battle, resulting in a 0-0 score going into halftime.
 
Entering the second half, the fight was back on until Janya Gonzalez shot the first goal in the 56^th minute, 1-0. The Warriors scored in the 63^rd minute tying the game back up, 1-1. The Lions answered in the 72^nd minute when Janya Gonzalez scored her second goal of the night, 2-1. In the 80^th minute of the game, Harley Murphy shot another goal for the Lions, 3-1.

The Lions took the match, 3-1. 
 
Next up, the Lady Lions take on the University of Mount Olive at home on Saturday, October 7^th at 1:30PM. Go Lions!
