FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA - The Emmanuel Men's Wrestling team hosted UNC Pembroke in a Conference Carolinas dual on Wednesday in the Emmanuel Wrestling Center. Overall, the match up was evenly matched, with the Lions winning four matches to UNC Pembroke's, six but the Braves edged the Lions in points and took the match, 27-17. 
 
The Lions won big at 165 lbs. with senior, Christian Trimble earning a TF victory over Pembroke's Ulises Varner, 16-1.
 
Senior, Markis Hill earned a 4-3 decision victory over UNCP's Jose Zambrano and senior, Micha Clemson earned a 12-5 decision over UNCP's Christopher Dickey.
 
Next up, the Lions will travel to Emory and Henry to face the Wasps at 7p.m.
