Florence, SC - The Lady Lions traveled to Florence, South Carolina to face off against the Patriots of Francis Marion University this weekend. The Lions come into the game 11-9 overall after a close loss to SWU.

Emmanuel - 56 (11-9; 10-6 Conference Carolinas)
Francis Marion - 68 (17-6; 15-2 Conference Carolinas)


Francis Marion would come out hot the first two quarters of play. The Lions would score only 9 points in the first 10 minutes of play while the Patriots would score 21. Second quarter would prove to be much better as the Lions would play defense well and hold the Patriots to 13 points while the Lions would score 12 points. Emmanuel would come out hot out of the locker room from the half as they would dominate the third quarter as they would out score the Patriots 21-16. Abby Crawford, Sydney Wyatt and Jeanette Elder would be the leading scorers for the third quarter. With two minutes left in the game, the Lions would come within 5 points of the Patriots. Ultimately the Patriots would go on a last minute run and win the game.

the Lions will travel to North Greenville to face off against the Patriots on Wednesday, February 15th. Game time is set for 5:00pm.
