Franklin Springs, GA - The Lions hosted #2 in the Conference, UNC Pembroke this afternoon on senior day. The Lions come into to this game on a winning streak after beating North Greenville earlier in the week. 

The Lions stopped a 7 game win streak for the Braves as they took the victory in this afternoon's matchup, 60-52. The Lions out shot the Braves in every category. Shooting from beyond the ark played a huge role in this game as the Lions shot 27% compared to the Braves who shot 11%. The Lions also dominated at the free throw line as they managed to get 16 of 20 to drop. Sydney Wyatt shot a perfect 9 for 9 from the Lions this afternoon while Jazmine Allen and Macy Passmore both went 2 for 2 from the line. With this victory, the Lions secured their spot in the semi finals of the Conference Carolinas tournament which will be held at Wofford College beginning on on February 26, 2023.

The Lions will host Converse for their last regular season game on Tuesday, February 21st. The game is set to begin at 5:00pm.
