Franklin Springs, GA - The Lions hosted Shorter University this afternoon for a non conference matchup with the Hawks. Coming into this game, Emmanuel had yet to clinch a victory on the season and the Hawks had only one.

Shorter - 10 (1-4 overall)

Luke Hildebrandt led the Lions to victory this afternoon scoring 6 of the 13 goals and had one assist. Ryland Laaurell followed closely behind Hildebrandt scoring 3 goals with 3 assists. The Lions were also led by goalie, Matt Pesek, who had a total of 16 saves while playing the full 60 minutes. The Lions outscored the Hawks in the first and the third quarter, 7 goals to the hawks 3 goals. Emmanuel led in in shots on goal, saves, ground balls and face offs. In total, their were 5 lead changes during the course of 60 minutes of play. 

The Lions will head to Orlando, Florida on March 4th.
