Lions Split two game series with Young Harris College

Young Harris, GA - The Lions traveled to compete against Young Harris College this afternoon. The Lions come into this series on a two game win streak after they dominated Lee University at home this past weekend.

Game 1 recap: Emmanuel - 2 ;  Young Harris - 8

The Lions went to bat 26 times during the duration of this game, with a total of 5 hits and 2 earned runs. The Mountain Lions made an appearance at the plate 28 times totaling 8 hits which resulted in 8 runs, 4 of which were earned. Macy Kelley and Kaitlyn Pickens led the Lions on the mound. Kyna Cheney would double for an rbi while Kinsley Goolsby would hit a triple to the right field scoring two runners. The Lions were led on the mound by Maddie Edwards. Edwards faced 28 batters totaling in 7 hits, 5 runs, 5 errors, 0 walks, 2 strikeouts and 0 hit by pitch. 

The Lions will head to Newberry, South Carolina to face off against in a two game series against the Newberry College Wolves on Saturday, March 4th. First pitch is set for 1:00pm.
