FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA - The women's lacrosse team faced Erskine College on Wednesday evening. The Lions defeated the Flying Fleet, 24-3. The three game win streak moves Emmanuel's record to 6-8 on the year and 4-3 in conference play. 

The Lions dominated from start to finish. Ten consecutive goals for Emmanuel over the first ten minutes of the game built a double-digit lead. The Fleet scored with two minutes remaining in the quarter, but the Lions found the goal twice more, making the score 12-1 after 15 minutes. The pattern continued over the remaining three quarters, with the Lions setting the pace and taking control of both the offensive and defensive ends. When all was said and done the Lions were up by 21 goals, 24-3. This makes it the second highest scoring game for the Lions in program history, and the most scored against a Division II opponent. (Emmanuel scored 25 against Columbia College, an NAIA program on March 25, 2015). 

Justine Dorelas and Anna Gill led the high flying offense, scoring 7 goals each. Dorelas added an assist while Gill Dished out 3 assists. Ashley Mercker and Megan Williams also finished with three assists each. 

Next up, women's lacrosse will face Lees-McRae College on Saturday, April 15 at 1:00pm.
