Box Score The Emmanuel Lions Soccer team opened up conference play at home tonight against Southern Wesleyan. 
 
The Lions wasted no time opening up the scoring in the 5^th minute of play with a goal by Iker Martinez, assisted by Matt Fitzer.
 
The Lions took a 1-0 lead into the half, with 8 shots on goal.
 
Similar to the first half, the second half began with a Lion's goal by Lucas Pollacchi in the 48^th minute of play, assisted by Samuel Botwright. 
 
Then, Botwright got in on the action with a goal of his own in the 52^nd minute, assisted by Pollacchi, to make the score 3-0 Emmanuel.
 
Nathan Walker gave the Lions a 4-0 lead in the 68^th minute, assisted by Pollacchi.

 Pollacchi put the exclamation mark on the match with a goal in the 74^th. minute, assisted by Dylan Persinger to give the Lions a 5-0 win over the Warriors.
 
The Lions finished the night with 12 shots on goal, compared to SWU's 4. 
 
The Lions will now look to carry the momentum into Friday's match at Young Harris at 4:30p.m.
