Box Score The Emmanuel Lions Volleyball team squared off against Converse today at the Shaw Athletic Center. The Lions took the lead early, earning the first set win, 25-19. The Valkyries would go onto take the second set, 25-23. The Lions would bounce back in the third set, 29-27, with Converse taking the final two sets, 27-25, 15-13 to take the match, 3-2. 
 
Overall, the Lions had 65 kills, 9 aces, and 8 blocks. 
 
Emily Hanson led the way for the Lions with 15 kills, with Ella Johns contributing 14. 
 
Ellie Jackson had 3 aces with Layla Bland contributing 24 digs. 
 
Gabrielle McGlamery had 50 assists on the day with Brianna Bigelow earning 3 blocks. 
 
The Lions will be back in action on Tuesday night at North Greenville University at 7p.m.
