The Emmanuel Lady Lions Soccer team hosted the Erskine Flying Fleet today in Conference Carolinas action.
 
Emmanuel wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, with a goal in the 8^th minute by freshman, Vanessa Worrell assisted by Elizabeth Barnhart. 
 
The remainder of the half was a defensive battle, and the Lions took a 1-0 lead into halftime. 
 
In the 2^nd half, Erskine tied things up in the 52^nd minute, 1-1. But Emmanuel kept focused and took the 2-1 lead in the 82^nd minute on a goal by senior, Lourdes Tompkins, assisted by Elizabeth Barnhart. That would be all Emmanuel needed to take the win, 2-1.
 
Up next, Emmanuel will host Georgia College on Wednesday at 6p.m.!
