Box Score The Emmanuel Women's Volleyball team traveled to Central, S.C. to take on Southern Wesleyan University tonight in a Conference Carolinas matchup. 
 
The Lions got off to a quick start and stayed focused throughout the match, defeating the Warriors in straight sets, 25-13, 25-12, 25-10.
 
Overall, Emmanuel had 38 kills, 9 aces, 8 blocks, and 53 digs. 
 
Layla Bland led the way for the Lions in kills with 6, with Jocelyn Martin, Ella Johns, and Alaina Emminger each contributing 5. 
 
Asia Queen and Amore Marshall were on fire at the service mark, with 3 aces apiece, and Emily Hanson contributed 4.5 blocks. 
 
Gabrielle McGlamery contributed 33 assists for Emmanuel. 
 
Next up, the Lions will face Erskine College at 7p.m. on Friday at the Shaw Athletic Center!
