Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Lions Defeat Fleet 3-0!

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA -The Emmanuel University Women's Volleyball team took the win today against Erskine College during a home conference match. The Lions took the match 3-0, bringing their overall record to 9-6 and their conference record to 5-2.  
 
The Lions got off to a quick start and stayed focused throughout the match, defeating the Flying Fleet in straight sets, 25-17, 25-14, 21-25.
 
Overall, the Lady Lions had 47 kills, 8 aces, 10 blocks and 45 digs. 
 
Alaina Emminger led the way for the Lions with 13 kills, with Emily Hanson adding 10 of her own and Jocelyn Martin contributing 8. 
 
Jill Johnson contributed 4 blocks, while Ellie Jackson attained 4 aces. 
 
Gabrielle McGlamery contributed 40 assists.
 
Next up, the Lions will travel to Augusta University on Tuesday, October 3rd at 6:00PM! Go Lions!
