Box Score FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA- The Emmanuel Lions hosted the North Greenville Crusaders tonight in Conference Carolinas action. Although the Lions scored early, they would have to stay focused and battle to a 2-1 victory over the Crusaders, improving their record to 4-3 overall, 3-2 in conference play. 
 
Matt Fitzer got things started early for Emmanuel, with a goal at 17:33, assisted by Iker Martinez. 
 
The Lions took a 1-0 lead into the half. 
 
The start of the second half was a defensive battle between the teams, with North Greenville leading Emmanuel in both shots, (22-16) and shots on goal, (12-3)
 
NGU would tie things up in the 78^th minute, 1-1, but Fitzer would go score his second goal of the night at 87:53 to give the Lions a 2-1 lead. 
 
Next up, the Lions will face Southern Wesleyan on Tuesday at 7:30p.m.
