The Women's Volleyball team squared off against Shorter University in their first match of the Lions Den Invitational Tournament at the Shaw Athletic Center.
 
Although the Hawks made each match competitive, the Lady Lions would come away with a 3-0 sweep, 25-20, 25-23, 25-17.
 
Overall, the Lady Lions had 36 kills, 6 aces, and 5 blocks. 
 
Emily Hanson led the way for the Lions with 11 kills, with Jocelyn Martin adding 8 of her own. 
Hanson, Samantha Dibene, and Brianna Bigelow each contributed 2 blocks. 
 
Gabrielle McGlamery contributed 30 assists!
