SALISBURY, NC - The men's golf team continued their fall season at The Rendleman Invitational on October 7 and 8. The Lions had two teams competing in the event. The "A" team finished 4th while the "B" team finished 11th out of 14 teams competing.

The tournament took place at the Country Club of Salisbury, a 6,757 yard Donald Ross layout. The course features bent grass greens and rolling hills with tree-lined fairways. Catawba, the host team, took home the team title by a shot over Emory and Henry. Catawba shot a 54 hole total of 850 (-2), while Emory and Henry came in with an 851 (-1) on the par 71 layout. Fellow Conference Carolinas member Erskine came in third with an 859 (+7), while Emmanuel followed in fourth with an 882 (+30). King, North Greenville, and Belmont Abbey finished 5th, 6th, and 7th respectively.

The Emmanuel B team finished 11th with a three round total of 908 (303-302-303) to post a score of 56 over par.

Individually, freshman Lukas Lautrup-Nissen led the way for the Lions. After an opening round 75, he improved every round, shooting a -1 score of 70 in round two before finishing with a final round 69 (-2).
