Box Score Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel Men's Soccer team hosted Erskine tonight in Conference Carolinas play. The Flying Fleet took the lead early and held on to come away with a 2-1 win. With the loss, the Lions fall to 2-3-2 overall, 1-3-1 in conference play. 
 
Erskine got things started early with a goal at the 11:35 mark to take a 1-0 lead. The Lions answered back, with a goal by Dylan Persinger at 18:10, assisted by Ross Lamont to tie things at 1-1. The Flying Fleet regained the lead in the 27^th minute to make it 2-1 and the score stayed that way heading into the half.
 
After the half, it was a defensive battle with neither team finding the net. Although the Lions outshot the Flying Fleet 5-3, the Fleet held onto win, 2-1.
