Milledgeville, GA – The Emmanuel Women's Tennis team traveled to Milledgeville, Ga. today to take on Texas A&M University – Kingsville. The Javelinas took the match 6-1. With the loss, the Lions fall to 2-3 on the season.
In doubles action, Emmanuel's #1 doubles team of
Darja Chistov and
Sabina Roua defeated Raina Zaffar and Luna Jakonovic, 6-4. In #2 Doubles, Javelina's Alessa Maier / Milou ter Morsche defeated Emmanuel's
Zyanya Rogel and
Alejandra Guerrero 6-2. At the 3
rd doubles spot, Texas A&M Kingsville's Winner A. Andersson Gomez / Ella Hester defeated Emmanuel's
Anna Goncalves and
Victoria Rodriguez 6-4. With two doubles wins, the Javelinas earned the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead.

Soleny Gonzalez fell to Alessa Maier of Texas A&M- Kingsville, 6-1, 6-1.

Shatavisa Ghosh defeated Javelinas Luna Jokanovic in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3.

Darja Chistov fell to Manuela Turolo of Texas A&M – Kingsville in a close match, 6-2. 7-6.
#4 Singles –
Sabina Roua fell to Milou ter Morsche of Texas A &M – Kingsville, 6-3. 6-0.
#5 Singles –
Victoria Rodriguez fell to Raina Zaffar in three sets, winning the first 7-6, then falling 6-4, 1-0.

Chloe Smith fell to Javelinas A. Anderson Gomez, 6-2, 6-1.
