Box Score Young Harris, GA – The Emmanuel Women's Soccer team traveled to Young Harris for their first conference road trip of the season. The Lions got off to a quick start with a goal in the 6^th minute of play, but Young Harris would respond and held onto the momentum of the game the rest of the way to win, 5-1. With the loss, the Lions fall to 0-6 on the season, 0-2 in conference.
 
Jillian Aldrich started things off for the Lions with a goal at 6:51 to give Emmanuel a 1-0 lead, assisted by Sophie Valeruz. Young Harris responded to tie things at 1-1 in the 12^th minute of play. The Mountain Lions found the net for the second time at 21:28 to take a 2-1 lead and scored for a third time in the half just thirty seconds later to go up, 3-1.
 
In the second half of play, Young Harris added to their lead with a score at 56:15 to make it 4-1. Young Harris would tack on a final goal at 57:15 to go up 5-1 which would be the final. 
 
Young Harris had 10 shots on goal compared to Emmanuel's 6 and had 7 corner kicks compared to the Lion's 2. 
 
Up next, the Lions will host Shorter on Tuesday at 4:30PM.
