Box Score Hartsville, SC – The Emmanuel Women's Soccer team traveled to Hartsville, SC this afternoon to take on the Coker University Cobras in their season opener.
 
The Cobras got off to a fast start with a goal at 18:51 to take a 1-0 lead. Roughly 10 minutes later, Coker made it 2-0. At 32:19 in the first half, the Cobras tacked on a third goal to make the score 3-0 heading into halftime. 
 
The second half saw the Lions settle into play. The Lions took eight shots in the 2^nd half, compared to two in the first. Emmanuel allowed just one shot on goal in the 2^nd half, but it was a scoring play as the Cobras made it 4-0 at the 47:59 mark. 
 
The Lions will be back in action on Saturday at home against Anderson University at 2PM.
