Franklin Springs, GA – Today, the National Tenpin Coaches Association released their preseason national poll and the Emmanuel Women's Bowling team broke into the top ten, ranked 8
th in the DII & DIII poll. The Lions received votes in the overall Preseason Coaches' Poll for 2025-26.
The 2024-25 season was historic for the Lions, as they were ranked nationally at #25 for the first time in program history. The Lions finished the season ranked 5
th in the NTCA DII Poll after several ranked wins.
For Conference Carolinas Coach of the Year,
Joey Kendrick the recognition is an honor but there's still work to do.
"It's good to be ranked in the preseason," Kendrick said. "It proves that what we've done in the past years and now is being recognized not just by us but nationally by other coaches. Now we've got to do our jobs to stay there."
The Lions return Conference Carolinas Bowler of the Year,
Danielle Fendenheim and Freshmen of the Year,
Makayla Angel to the roster.
The Lions will kick off their season on October 18
th-19
th at the SCAD ATL Bee Bash.
