Franklin Springs, GA – Congratulations to Emmanuel Swimming freshman, Mateus Lopes for being named Conference Carolinas Swimmer of the Week after a strong showing at the Emmanuel Fall Invite on Saturday. 

The Lions finished first in a meet that featured Berry, Montevallo, and Converse. Lopes ended the day with four first place finishes. He finished the 50 yard backstroke in 23.09 seconds, the 50 yard freestyle in 21.41 seconds, the 100 yard freestyle in 46.77 seconds and the 100 yard backstroke in 50.05 seconds.
