Franklin Springs, GA – Conference Carolinas announced today that Emmanuel Women's Golf freshmen, Alba Cáliz Rejas was named the Conference Freshman of the Month! 

Cáliz, from Madrid, Spain has made an instant impact for the Lions during fall tournament play. 

In the month of September, she has a scoring average of 74.6 over three tournaments. She has beaten 165 opponents, only losing to 28 and tying 10. 

In the month, Caliz finished 3^rd at the Golden Mane Invitational, T9 at the NCAA DII South Regional Preview, and 21^st at the Savannah Lakes Invitational.
