TEMPE, AZ – The Emmanuel Women's Triathlon team traveled to Tempe, AZ over the weekend to compete in the NCAA Women's Collegiate National Triathlon Championship. 

The Lions competed well, with two racers placing within the top 150 overall (regardless of division), giving Emmanuel an 8^th place finish overall in the NCAA DII category. 

Emmanuel freshman, Daniela Lincango led the way, finishing the full race in 1:14.16 to earn a 102^nd place finish overall (31st in D2), earning the Lions 89 points.

Rica Botz finished 169^th overall (46th in D2), with a total race time of 1:19:24.1. She earned the Lions 54 points on the day.
