NEWBERRY, SC – The Emmanuel Men's Wrestling team traveled to Newberry, SC for a dual against the Allen University Yellow Jackets. The Lions jumped out to an early lead and controlled the momentum the rest of the way to take a 33-7 victory, improving to 1-1 on the season. 

HIGHLIGHTS

• At the 141lb weight class, Jordan Sexton won via tech fall (21-5)
• At the 149lb weight class, Isaac Piatek won via decision (5-4)
• At the 157lb weight class, Austin Marshall won by decision (12-11)
• At the 174lb weight class, Michael McCarthy won by SV-1 (12-9)
• At the 184lb weight class, Chase Bisel won via majority decision (9-0)
• At the 197 lb weight class, Anthony Olea won by majority decision (12-2)
• At the 285lb weight class, Kobe Pablo won via tech fall (16-1)

Next up, the Lions will host Mount Olive on November 18^th at 5PM.
