COLUMBUS, GA – The Emmanuel Women's Swim team continued competition today in the Small College Championship Cup. The Lions made noise in the day two finals with multiple top finishers.
RESULTS
- In the 200 Free Relay, the Emmanuel team of Darielys Ortiz, Marcela Alonso, Zoe Anthony and Isabell Schiller finished 1st with a time of 1:34.80, which was a school record.
- In the 100 Yard Butterfly, Alonso (56.13) and Ortiz (56.16) finished 1st and 2nd in the finals.
- In the 400IM, Isabell Schiller finished 1st with a time of 4:21.35, which earned her an NCAA cut.
- In the 200 Free, Isabella Hernandez finished 6th with a time of 1:55.80.
- In the 400 Medley Relay, the Emmanuel team of Ortiz, Schiller, Alonso and Anthony finished 2nd with a time of 3:50.70.
After the second day of competition, the Lions sit in third place with 337.5 points behind St. Thomas University (599) and Rollins College (456.5).
The Lions will be back in action tomorrow for day three of the Small College Championship Cup.
