MARIETTA, GA – The Emmanuel Men's Wrestling team traveled to Marietta, GA over the weekend to take part in the Lucha Open hosted by Life University. The Lions used the tournament as an opportunity for underclassmen wrestlers to get some mat experience.
RESULTS
- Josue Mendoza led the way for the Lions with an 8th place finish. He went 3-3 on the day in the 184 lb. weight class. He earned two wins by decision and one by fall on the day.
- Brady Sims picked up two wins by tech fall in the tournament at 174.
The Lions will be back in action on December 3
rd as they host Bluefield State University at 7PM.
