GLENVILLE, WV – The Emmanuel Men's Wrestling team opened their season this weekend at Glennville State University in the Pioneer Open. The Lions wrestled well, with several wrestlers collecting wins.
TOP FINISHERS

1. Michael McCarthy went 4-1 in the tournament at 174. He finished the tournament with 2 wins via fall and 2 wins via decision.  He lost in the 1^st place match via tech fall.
2. Brayden Mitchell went 4-1 in the tournament at 125. He finished the day with 2 wins by fall, one majority decision, and a decision. After winning in the quarterfinal match, Mitchell fell in the semifinals by decision, 9-3. 
3. Isaac Piatek ended the day with 3 wins at 149, two by fall and one by tech fall. 
4. Kobe Pablo ended the day with 3 wins at 285, 2 by majority decision, one by decision. 

The Lions will be back in action on Sunday, November 9 at 9AM as they host the Georgia Open at the Shaw Athletic Center.
